IMPORTANT
It is important that you are sure how the BFA regulations on blade size and type may effect your final choice of protective clothing when fencing using electric equipment. You may have to use an 800N Underplastron and a minimum of 350N Breeches to fence at your club as well as in competitions. Put simply; if any electric foil or epee blade, as well as any sabre blade, is used which is above size 3,(ie size 4, or more commonly size 5) a CE Level 2 800N Underplastron must be worn if using a 350N Jacket.
